Work vs R&R

Sunday, September 11th, 2005

“Well, if you want to, you could come in later tonight. You could just work a 5-10.”
Who wouldn’t love to hear that from their supervisor at work? I can work if I want to, but I don’t have to. These first two weeks are definitely unique. At Home Depot, you’re not put on the schedule [...]

Everything you never knew you wanted to know about my day…

Friday, September 9th, 2005

… or whatever else I decide to write about.
So the day started off early, but not as early as the two days before. We went to Divide to cut and install some baseboard. It was kind of a small job for driving all the way out there (a little over an hour in a Suburban [...]

The Reunion

Wednesday, September 7th, 2005

We had our reunion camping trip last weekend. It was pretty fun. I almost didn’t go, but I’m glad I did. But on a side note, spending time with three engaged/married couples is not good therapy for a long-distance relationship. So what is it? Oh, well it’s a blog with tons of authors instead of just one. So basically it’s [...]

Cross-posting…

Thursday, September 1st, 2005

Could it be? Does it work? If this shows up on my Xanga, the cross-posting worked. I wrote this on Stevish.com.
Alright, here goes nothing…

Feet, Rocks, and a Nazi

Thursday, September 1st, 2005

“You should probably be in your socks for this. Actually, you should really go barefoot.”
Yessssss
That’s right, kids, Stories of Flooring is back, and this time it’s barefooted! I love refinish jobs ’cause once we get to the staining/sealing/finishing phase, we have to do it barefoot. Which is a definite plus since I usually have to [...]
