Waiting…

So I’m waiting for the stupid drill battery to recharge so I can continue to work on mounting that desk. Oh that glorious desk that will soon end the back and elbow pain that is caused by having a keyboard and monitor on the floor.

I smell like smoke. That’s because my dad has all the good tools, so my options for cutting a board are either a hand saw (fun, but it gets old fast) or a circular saw with a blade that’s older than I am. Basically, it doesn’t really cut through the wood… it kinda burns it’s way through. Needless to say, it was an interesting experience, and the ends of all my boards are now black. I’m just glad we don’t have a smoke alarm in our garage.

So today I’ve decided to talk about the conundrum that is Wal Mart.

Alright, we’ve got this store called Wal Mart. Everything’s cheap ’cause it’s all made overseas in some sweatshop. It’s open 24 hours and they carry everything anyone would ever need to survive. I hear they’re even moving into real estate… ok maybe not. Basically, it’s a great store and with Wal Mart around, why shop anywhere else? That’s where the conundrum comes in:

WAL MART IS TAKING OVER THE WORLD

So what are we gonna do about it? Are we gonna let the big dog put the small guys out of a job? Are we gonna let Wal Mart buy our nation? Are we gonna elect Wal Mart as our next president? What are we going to do to stop Wal Mart from becoming an all-powerful dictator?

Nothing? Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too. Why do something about it when you could do… nothing. I like the nothing idea. I like shopping at wal mart ’cause it saves me money. If you’re not for them, you’re against them, so… Wal Mart for president!
