Well, here I am.

I’m not really sure what to write, but I kinda felt like writing. Feel free to follow along at home. We’ll start on page one.

I have a dilemma. I don’t know how to treat this blog. Do I try to make it a personal journal, an update page for friends and family, an entertainment site (With jokes and IFAQ’s), a news blog…? Ok, so maybe the news thing is out of the question. I guess my main problem is “What kind of readers am I aiming for here?”

It’s always nice to have people reading your blog who you don’t know. Someone that finds your writing entertaining. It just gives you that warm fuzzy feeling inside knowing that you can brighten the day of a soul you’ve never met. On the flip side, however, it’s also nice to be able to keep people who are far away (Let’s say Michigan) up to date on current events and updates in my life. Then there’s the cryptic, poetic release of emotions in a semi-public blog. That kind of blog has its place too.

I guess I want my blog to fit all of those. I’ve seen blogs that do it (The one off the top of my head is Ben Murphy’s Xanga), so I know it’s possible, but I just don’t think I can accopmlish such an entertaining blog. I simply do not have enough hutzpah to be able to write entertaining posts on a regular basis.

I’ve also thought of making a whole new blog (I definitely have experience in making more than one wordpress blog), and just devoting it to personal updates, where this one will be for entertainment and web design hints, tips and discussion. I already get most of my hits from people looking at the Stevish themes, so… (And there was a point to that sentence, I know there was…)

Moving on…

Today. Today I worked for five hours on what we calculated would take us 3 hours (The final coat of finish on a floor), but what else is new? I got to talk to Rachel a little, so I’m always thankful for that. Uh oh… I feel a paragraph about my Rae coming on. Ok, I’ll suppress it and just put it in her IM window instead.

So tonight has been pretty fun. I’m hanging out with Ben (My little bro), Romeo, Alex, Rachel (Not my Rachel), Elizabeth and Robert. They were watching a movie when I joined them. Then we just talked and watched short videos for a while. Then off to Wal Mart. Now… OH CRAP!!! THE BROWNIES!!! Ok, I saved ’em. Alright, I’ma eat brownies with my little brother’s friends on a Saturday night… ok, I’m a loser. Whatev.
