The project…

So I really do have an excuse for why I haven’t posted in a while… honest.

See, I’ve been putting a lot of work into some stuff on WhatsUpKids in the past month or so, and in general, by the time I’m done doing whatever I do there, I really don’t feel like posting. But I have recently come to a decision about the whole thing.

The site is going to die. Unless of course I continue to breast-feed it and nurture it by constantly writing posts designed to spur other people on to writing posts (or at least comments) of their own. However, I’ve decided to stop doing that. I’ll post in reply to others, and when I feel I have something I’d like to write on there, but I’m not gonna let it be a one (or two if you include TJ) man show.

Alright, enough about that…

When I said “Spur” I was reminded of next year’s theme at Camp Ao-Wa-Kiya. It’s something about “Prospur” (Spelled that way on purpose). It’s gonna be a western theme. I suppose it’s time to break out the duster for normal use again, and re-shape that crushed cowboy hat.

Talking to Bill on Monday really got me excited about the internship. My chances are looking really good, and the internship itself sounds like it’s gonna be a blast. I get to be included in the theme choosing process, help design games for that theme, and also a bunch of other stuff for summer of 2007 that sounds really fun. I’m pretty stoked about spending the year with Robert and Kristie, and working with them and Bill all year.

Annoyance/Rant of the day: Being on hold when calling Wells Fargo.

See, it wouldn’t be so bad if it was just hold music, but for the whole 15 minutes that I was waiting, voices kept interrupting to tell me how “this is a fast-paced world,” and how hard they’re working to answer my call as quickly as possible. Seriously, if I didn’t believe they were working on answering me, those stupid recorded tracks wouldn’t convince me of it. Dumb. But hey, they’re getting my money back from the evil empire known as cheaptickets, so it’s all good.
