Settling in
Well, I’m starting to get in the swing of things here, and getting used to waking up at camp. Being an intern definitely makes it feel a little different. I have responsibilities… and, and… trust! It’s almost like they think I’m a mature adult!.. almost. 😉
My kitchen is a little bigger than the one at home. Now I have a full sized walk-in cooler to raid instead of just a refridgerator. And there’s a whole wall full of intern food just for me… and anyone else who is around.
Tonight, there’s no one else around. It’s me, Pastor Bill (I wonder if he’s back from town yet…) and the Deens, but they’re all at their respective houses and I have Gordon hall (which houses my room, a rec room, some hotel rooms, the kitchen, the dining hall, some offices, and a chapel) all to myself. So I’m just hanging out with Tabitha and my 28.8k dial-up internet connection.
Support is coming in steadily. The last number I heard was 1,200 dollars that has come in for me. Praise God. I’m just trusting that the rest will come in as I need it.
And that’s all I can think of to update for now. I hope I didn’t bore ya too much. I know how some of you are with long posts 😛
So long…
